Tim Cook announces that Apple will make a donation for the victims of Hurricane Helene

Apple has announced its willingness to participate in relief efforts to help victims of Hurricane Helen, which devastated several states in the southeastern United States. Tim Cook shared this news on the social network X, he affirmed that Apple stands alongside the communities affected by this natural disaster.

As usual, Apple did not disclose the amount of the donation, preferring to remain discreet about this type of contribution during natural disasters. The last one concerned the floods in Brazil last May.

Hurricane Helene left a devastating trail across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Virginia. The human toll is heavy, with more than 100 confirmed deaths and the material consequences are numerous. Massive flooding following the hurricane is making relief efforts even more difficult, especially in the hardest-hit areas. Currently, more than 2.5 million homes are still without electricity and infrastructure such as roads, bridges and homes have suffered considerable damage.

Faced with this critical situation, Apple is joining other companies and organizations to help those affected. These contributions will accelerate reconstruction efforts and help the many families in distress.
