As we have been waiting since last year, Apple would have launched the AirTag 2although they do not carry that name, and are simply a renewal of the previous ones, omitting those from the catalog and leaving the new ones as the only available option.
Let's see all the features and if they are worth it, although as we said, at least officially, there are no others, so if we want some, they will have to be these. And be very careful on external websites, since we could be confused by having the same name.

In summary, this is what we can find, for 35 euros, its official price in Apple Stores:

- New warning tone: includes a clearer and more distinctive sound when playing the notice from the Search app.
- Search from Apple Watch: The Precision Search function can be used directly from compatible Apple Watches by updating watchOS, without always depending on the iPhone.
- Integrated Find My Network: allows you to locate objects out of range using other nearby Apple devices anonymously and encrypted.
- Enhanced privacy: It does not save location history and has advanced protections against unauthorized tracking.
- Unchanged design: It maintains the same size and shape as the previous model, ensuring compatibility with all existing accessories.
- Recycled materials: Several internal and external components use recycled materials, aligning with Apple's environmental goals.
- Replaceable battery: As always, it uses a battery that can be easily changed by the user, lasting approximately one year.
- Price and availability: It maintains the same price as the previous model (in Spain it drops to 35 euros), with the option of purchasing individually or in a pack of four and personalized engraving.
In summary, we have a somewhat more powerful model in terms of distance, location, precision, and speaker volumebut the changes do not go further, so Apple has not called it AirTag 2 either, and it remains with the same name, being something a little superior, but not outrageous either.
The previous model was 39 euros, being the new price 35 eurosdespite the fact that on other websites like Amazon we could find it cheaper, so now we could see a new reduction, which is interesting. The pack of 4 would be around 119 euros, something much more interesting if we want it engraved and personalized, since the only option is to purchase it through the official website.
