More than two weeks ago, Apple launched a major update for AirPods Pro 2 with the new iOS 18 features, users can now say “yes” or “no” with their head to answer a call, they benefit better isolation of their voice during calls and spatial audio in some games. Apple is releasing a third update for the AirPods Pro 2 this evening, the second was a corrective version put online recently.
New update for AirPods Pro 2
The AirPods Pro 2 just received a new update this evening to improve the user experience and overall performance of the wireless earbuds. Users will see their firmware upgraded from version 7A302 to 7A305 during the evening or in the coming days.
For the moment, Apple has not communicated precise details on the content of this update. It is therefore likely that it will focus mainly on bug fixes and stability improvements, a common practice for these minor updates
The update installs automatically the next time your AirPods connect to an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. To check if you have the latest version, simply look in the settings of your iPhone then in AirPods.
