After iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1, here is beta 1 for watchOS 11.1, visionOS 2.1 and tvOS 18.1. A first beta on time that will mainly focus on fixing bugs following the official launch earlier this week.
First beta available on all remaining platforms
Now that watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and tvOS 18 are live for the general public, it’s time for Apple to launch beta 1 of watchOS 11.1, visionOS 2.1, and tvOS 18.1. A new beta cycle makes sense since iOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1 have already been in beta for a while. The two major releases had gotten a head start to make it easier for developers to discover Apple Intelligence.
Like every first beta, it focuses mainly on bug fixes and adjusting some settings. The iPad Pro M4 knows what we’re talking about… If any interesting new features are discovered in the coming weeks, we’ll keep you informed as soon as possible.
As a reminder, Apple Intelligence will be the big new feature of this new version. Although the deployment will be gradual until the end of the year, users will be able to enjoy Apple’s artificial intelligence from October and the release of iOS 18.1 and others.
Once again, it will still not be available in Europe and France, due to lack of agreement with the European authorities. Apple has promised support for the French language in 2025, we will be satisfied with this information for the moment.
What’s new
For now, the only new feature is visionOS 2.1 which fixed the issue with AR tracking when moving your head.
