Two days after the official launch of iOS 18, here is your favorite application that is updated. If version 9.2 of iSoft had brought a completely redesigned “good deals” section, version 9.2.2 is working to support Apple’s new features, including the iPhone 16.
Full support for iOS 18
iSoft is already fully compatible with iOS 18 and the new iPhone 16. By the way, we have added support for the dark and tinted mode icon.
First, iSoft is now based on Xcode 16 and the iOS 18 SDK, which notably supports the new screen resolutions of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Instead of slightly stretching the interface, iSoft runs optimized on these devices.
Then, the support of the latest SDK allows to better manage the customization of icons on the home screen. You may have seen it during the betas, iOS 18 can change the color of the icons of all applications. Yet made intelligently by Apple engineers, this change was not perfect. To overcome this, we have provided specific versions of the icon, in dark mode and in tinted mode. The result is up to par, even if you opt for the large icons.
The rest is more anecdotal with an upgrade of the embedded libraries and the addition of a “refresh” button in the “Good Deals” section to check that the data is up to date. Enough to perfect iSoft which, let us remember, offers an optimal experience on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro.
