After the last months, where called spam They have increased by a large percentage, many people are looking for a way to block those contacts that they do not have on their agenda, or literally just being able to select some of them to allow their calls, making it impossible for the rest to bother us.
To do this, today, we will see two ways of being able to do it, depending on how strict we want to be, and, although it has a disadvantage, it will help us block, at times that we do not want them to interrupt us, those annoying commercial calls.
Block any unknown number
The first option is simpler, since it will allow us, any number that is not on the agenda, or is not known, cannot execute the call, so those that we do not have, they cannot call us either.
- Open the configuration app (Gear icon).
- Show down and touch Phone.
- Click on Silence unknown calls.
- Activate the option by moving the switch to the green position.

How to create a white list in mode not to bother with certain numbers
In case we do not want anyone to bother us, except family or very direct friends, we can also create that white list we were talking about, further closing the circle of possible calls. The steps are simple, although somewhat longer.
- Open the configuration app.
- Touches Approach > Do not disturb.
- Within the “Do not disturb” configuration, click on People.
- Touches in Allow calls from And choose one of these options:
- Favorites (If contacts are marked as favorites).
- Specific groups (If you have groups created in your contacts).
- You can also add people manually:
- Click on Add person.
- Select the contacts you want to allow.
- Make sure the option “allow calls from these people” is activated.
- Go back and activate mode Do not disturb from the same section or from the Control Center.
In this way, only selected contacts can call you while the non -disturbed mode is activated. The others will be silenced.
And ready, with any of the two ways you will prevent spam calls from getting, but remember that it has inconvenience, because an unpleasant number, whether from the mechanic, a doctor, or a relative that calls you from another place, it will not be able to be answered, so we only recommend doing it in meetings or specific moments where we do not want anyone to bother us, but, nevertheless, we leave it active in case there is an emergency.
