This week, Marvel made our mouths water by revealing a teaser of its upcoming series in 2025 on Disney+. Among them, Daredevil: Born Again caught the public’s attention. This superhero has indeed made an impression previously on Netflix, and his return is highly anticipated. The opportunity for us to give you the main information known to date on this production.
When will the series be released?
Daredevil: Born Again will launch on March 5, 2025 on Disney+. Note that the series will consist of 12 episodes, which is quite long compared to other Marvel creations recently offered on the platform.
What do we know about the story?
According to the official synopsis:
Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice in his growing law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk pursues his own political efforts in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, the two men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
We can expect the series to be a follow-up to the production season 3 once broadcast on Netflix. Brad Winderbaum, head of television and streaming at Marvel, explained in the past:
These characters have matured and the universe is different from what it was. Things have changed, society has changed, Matt and Wilson have changed, and their characters are going to clash in ways we’ve never seen before. It is no longer enough to try to kill each other; there is a whole political game at stake.
Fans are expecting an epic duel between these two protagonists. We also have to hope that the fight choreography will be on par with what it was in the series in the past. It was indeed one of his most noted qualities. We are also promised a level of violence which will go further than in the Netflix production.
What casting for this Daredevil reboot?
Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio return to their respective roles as Daredevil and Wilson Fisk. We were able to see them recently in Marvel series Echo And She Hulk. Alongside them, we will also have the pleasure of seeing Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood), Elden Henson (The Butterfly Effect), Jon Bernthal (The Bear), Wilson Bethel (Doors), Ayelet Zurer (Munich), and Genneya Walton (Dead Sea).
