OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus 15T in China. The successor to the 13T arrives with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage: the expected silicon leap for this generation, with no surprises when it comes to the processor.
The most striking element of the card is the battery. 7,500 mAh with silicon-carbon (Si-C) technology, with 100W fast charging by cable and 50W wireless. These are considerable figures in a segment where autonomy continues to be one of the most exploited sales arguments; It remains to be seen how it translates into everyday use.
A more fluid screen, but without wide angle
The screen is a panel 6.32 inch AMOLED with resolution 1,216 x 2,640 pixels. The size is maintained compared to the previous model, but the rate of soda goes up to 165 Hz and the peak brightness reaches 3,600 nits. It incorporates an under-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a 16 MP front camera.
In photography, the system is reduced to a dual 50 MP camera: a main one with a 1/1.56″ Sony sensor with OIS and 24 mm equivalent, and a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, lossless zoom up to 7x and also OIS. Supports recording in 8K at 60fps and 4K at 120 fps with Dolby Vision. The lack of wide angle is, however, a shortcoming that is difficult to ignore — and several users have already pointed it out since the announcement.

Price and availability
The OnePlus 15T starts at 4,299 yuan (about $625) in his version of 12GB + 256GBand reaches up to 5,699 yuan (about $828) with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB storage. Sales in China started on March 25. International expansion is not confirmed, although it could arrive under the OnePlus 15s name, following the pattern of the 13s in India last year.
It should be taken into account that the OnePlus 15 —launched in China in October and globally in November 2025— already included the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with a 7,300 mAh battery, triple rear camera with wide angle and 120W charging. The 15T improves in battery capacity and waterproofing (IP68/IP69K, resistant to pressurized water jets)but it gives up the wide angle and has a higher starting price. For those who already have the 15 in their sights, the comparison is not comfortable.
