We all know Google Mapsand we have all sought, once, the photo of our house, where we live, work, etc., however, the time of the year we wanted to see, or simply the Google car has not passed through that area.
Well, the other day, to try, I entered into Apple mapssince it has a similar function, although I thought it was going to be much worse, and that there would not even be records of my people, however, it surprised me, and it has more photos, and of better quality, than Google.
Apple maps and your street view
This Apple function is available to all users, it will not be necessary for you to have a MAC or an iPhone, so if you are curious, you can do it from the browser, without the need for the official application.
To do this, it is very simple, you will only have to Enter Apple Mapsand, as in Google, look for the desired address. Subsequently, we can open Street view on the icon of binocularsalthough we will be a preview of the image of the area, where we can press to later move freely where we want.
In addition, Apple Maps has more functions, not only being able to see streets or places, but also acts as a browser, and has different tools:
- Real -time navigation: Driving, walking, bicycle or public transport routes with traffic alerts.
- Detailed maps: 3D buildings, specific lanes and interior maps.
- Public transport: Detailed indications for buses, trains and subway.
- Exploration: Nearby places, reviews and photos.

- Compatibility with Siri: Navigation for voice commands.
- Apple integration: Synchronization with iPhone, Carplay, Apple Watch and more.
As a personal opinion, and valuing the photographs of my environment, I can say that the quality of the images best in Apple than in Google, in addition, at least in my case, they are more recent, so we could say that, frequently, Apple’s car passes more times, although it will depend on the area and luck, since it is likely that it has been a coincidence, however, I am happy with the result, and from now on I will use the maps of this company to check places that you want see.
The effect when changing streets or moving between different points has also seemed more realistic, however, this will depend on taste, and today I only came to bring this information, since many people do not know that Apple also has its own maps and photographswhich can help us see how it is or before some point, important in many situations, and that Google may not offer.
