Real Madrid fans might just have another reason to buy Apple’s Vision Pro headset. Indeed, according to the Spanish site Marca, which is relayed by Goal.com, the Madrid club would like to work with Apple in order to offer a new experience on Vision Pro which would allow the user to appreciate the matches as if they were was at the stadium, thanks to mixed reality.

According to Goal.com’s explanations, Real Madrid is facing a supply problem. In fact, there are not enough seats in its stadium to satisfy demand. And during a recent meeting, President Florentino Pérez reportedly “confirmed” the negotiations with Apple. “It’s a problem. Everyone wants to come to the Santiago Bernabéu and that is why we are negotiating with Apple to be able to put on glasses and watch the match as if you were in the stadium, it would be the infinite Santiago Bernabéu”he would have explained, according to Marca.

A partnership that can benefit both parties

For the moment, caution is advised, since this is not yet an official announcement. But in any case, such a partnership could benefit both Apple and Real Madrid. For its part, the club would have an alternative to offer to fans who cannot be at the stadium. And as for Apple, it could highlight a concrete use of its mixed reality headset.

After making a sparkling debut, the Vision Pro helmet failed to seduce the crowds. Besides the fact that it is very expensive, the uses of this mixed reality headset are not yet numerous enough to justify the price of 3,999 euros. But the arrival of new entertainment experiences, like the one Apple could develop with Real Madrid, could well encourage more people to buy the Vision Pro.
