Apple has officially unveiled iOS 26 with many exciting new features, an unexpected name change, and a groundbreaking visual redesign. And, as expected, the official list of iPhones compatible with iOS 26 has also been released, confirming which models will continue to receive updates for another year.
Last year, iOS 18 didn’t leave any iPhone models behind. All devices that were already compatible with iOS 17 were able to update to iOS 18 without problems. However, in previous versions, Apple had left some models behind, as happened with iOS 17, which left the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus unsupported.
