Apple has updated its iWork line of apps, Pages, Numbers and Keynote on macOS and iOS, adding powerful Apple Intelligence features such as Siri integration with ChatGPT, writing tools and Image Playground. These improvements were made possible by yesterday’s launch of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2 and macOS Sequoia 15.2 updates.
Presentation of new features
1. Writing Tools:
Proofreading, summarizing, rewriting and composition. These features help users write and improve text, leveraging ChatGPT for more complex tasks like writing text.
2. Siri Integration with ChatGPT
Siri, building on OpenAi’s platform, can now answer content-related questions directly in presentations, documents and spreadsheets, making it easier to extract key information from iWork files.
3. Image Playground
Via Image Playground, you can create unique and original images directly in iWork documents, enhancing presentations and reports with personalized visuals.
Compatibility
New features require an Apple Intelligence-enabled device, including:
- iPhone 15 Pro and later models (including iPhone 16)
- Mac with Apple Silicon chips
- iPad mini 7
- iPad with Apple Silicon chips

Pages, Numbers and Keynote are all available for free in the App Store and for use on iOS devices and Macs. Microsoft’s Office competitors, in particular.
