If you have an iPhone, and a car compatible with Carplay (Or you have bought an external one), there are thousands of apps for this system, although almost everyone uses this device with the natives, since only with being able to listen to music and use maps, it is enough.

However, today I will bring you the 3 applications That I use more and that are not installed, that is, they will have to download them to be able to use them, and obviously they will not be Apple Music or Apple's maps, because those, as we said, are the ones that everyone uses.

Better applications for Carplay

Obviously, none of them is crazy that no one knows and overcoming, because for a car we can have little, but I do like very much, since I use them daily and they do not come with the iPhone or Carplay itself, so many may not know and also end up using.

  1. Waze: This is the app that never is missing in my car. It helps you navigate the streets with real -time information about traffic, accidents or even radars. It may seem very similar to maps, but it is much more complete, fast, and informs you of things that Apple does not do. It is used by all taxi drivers and truck drivers, for something it will be. If you have never tried it, we recommend it, both for Carplay and to use as a browser on your iPhone.

  1. Audible: If you like to listen to audiobooks or podcasts, it is the perfect app. Sometimes we get tired of radio and music, and we want something different, so you can have hours of interesting talks or books that you have not yet read in your carplay very simple. In addition, if you have Amazon Prime, you can access much more free content.
  2. Tunein Radio: Most radios, despite being national, are not tune in on all sides, so, if you are a dial chain, the being, or any chain, you can listen to it through the Internet without the need to tune the frequency, so it will be heard much better, without noise, and anywhere, even outside Spain. It does not consume just data, so do not worry about this, since with little coverage you can listen to them. Of course, they will have a little more delay than if you do it directly through the FM.

The best thing about these applications is that they are not only available in Carplay, but, logically, we can have them on our iPhone, so we can also listen to any station, or put on a podcast to sleep, without having to be in the car. In addition, they are all free, and we will not have to pay for their use, although in Audible we can have payment content.

AUDIBLE

And you, do you know any other app that is essential for your day to day in Carplay? Leave us a comment with her so that we can discover it, and how it works. Many of these do not have them installed, and we are not aware of how interesting they are until we try them.
