Those who often wander around the Reddit /r/jailbreak have probably discovered MySign, a new application which intends to become a practical platform for installing third-party applications (.ipa) on iPhone or iPad without going through the App Store. An alternative to AltStore and Sideloady.

What is Sideloading?

Sideloading allows you to install applications outside of the App Store. This often requires signing these apps with a free Apple developer account, but this signing must be renewed every 7 days.
Solutions like AltStore, SideStore and Sideloadly already exist. MySign, despite its name, does not yet offer this functionality in version 1.0.

How MySign currently works

For now, MySign serves as a database for finding and downloading .ipa files. It’s a well-designed directory browser where you can easily select apps to install later.

As you will have understood, in its initial version, you will then have to use a tool like TrollStore to sign and install the IPA. But the start is promising.

Although Reddit users have all joked about an “IPA Sideloader” without a sideloading function, the developer has warned that it will add this function in a future update. In the meantime, it is possible to take advantage of its pretty, clean interface to browse and find applications to install, whether your device is jailbroken or not.

To test MySign, go to the /r/jailbreak thread for the IPA download link directly or the developer’s message on X:
