Realme has confirmed the Realme UI 7 rollout schedule based on Android 16 for China. The new layer debuts in the Realme GT 8 series and, starting in November, it will arrive in stages to more devices. The brand has also anticipated a complete redesign and obvious improvements in fluidity.
The company insists that the update will be released in phasesso dates may vary depending on model and region. Update schedule to Realme UI 7
November 2025:
This first group includes the most powerful and recent models, and coincides with the commercial launch of the GT 8 family with Realme UI 7 as standard.
December 2025:

Here comes the high-end of the previous generation and the latest “Pro” of the numbered series, which normally receive the big updates first.
January 2026:

Key new features of Realme UI 7 with Android 16
The interface adopts an aesthetic “glass with light and shadow” with new dynamic backgroundsicons and a control center with frosted finish. Under the hood, the Flow Light Engine promise 15% faster responses to touch and 22% quicker starts under heavy load. There are also “hardware-optimized frame tracking” to stabilize games and multitasking, and a Flow Accelerator that reduces the total system load around 14%with 26% improvements in the critical code.
In productivity, the smart window allows up to 12 apps in floating windowsand the desktop supports resizable icons (1×2, 2×1 and 2×2) to better organize the home screen. These changes are aimed at making better use of the large panels of the GT models and ensuring intensive use without jerks.
What does it mean for Realme users?
If you have a model from the November or December list, you should be one of the first to update. For the rest, January marks the horizon. Meanwhile, if you like to try before anyone else, you can keep an eye on the beta programs in China, which usually open limited seats and require specific firmware versions. At a global level, everything points to an announcement with the arrival of GT 8 Pro outside China.
