Here are the new free “PS+” games for December 2024. After last month’s titles (Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Death Note), Sony offers It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem. Enough to embark on hilarious cooperative adventures, sharpen your sense of strategy, and discover new species to tame.
Thus, users with a Sony console will be able to add all these games to their library without spending a euro. For the record, PS Plus has increased its prices.
All “PS Plus” subscribers, regardless of their level (standard, extra or premium), can obtain the titles offered each month for free, provided they have enough space on their PlayStation hard drive. If you don’t have enough space, you can add them to your library and download them later. These games remain accessible as long as you are a member. However, titles from previous months can no longer be retrieved if you have not added them in time.

Aliens: Dark Descent | PS4, PS5

What is PS Plus?
The “PlayStation+” subscription has been available for years for PS4 and PS5 (and PS5 Pro) users. With its three subscription tiers, members can enjoy free games each month, access a vast library of PlayStation games, and discover a selection of retro games ranging from PS1 to PS3. In addition, the service allows streaming gaming on external screens such as iPad, Mac or TV.
What are the 3 PS Plus offers?
The PlayStation Plus service (new version) is broken down into three parts: Essential (8.99€ / month), Extra (€13.99/month) and Premium (€16.99/month). But prices will soon rise. The first offers the same advantages as the old PS Plus (online play, cloud saving, 3 or 4 free games each month, exclusive discounts via PlayStation Store). The second also benefits from a catalog of just over 400 PS4 titles | PS5. And the third adds the classics (PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3), playing a selection of games remotely thanks to streaming and exclusive demos to test a handful of blockbusters.
