Nubia's next gaming mobile is already heating up—or, rather, cooling down—engines. The brand has confirmed the RedMagic 11 Pro and he announced it by highlighting a clear novelty: visible liquid cooling in a transparent edition. The promise is clear: maintain performance for longer without the processor being affected by temperature.

The series will debut first in China and, as shown in the trailers, it will not be a mere aesthetic change. The firm accompanies the liquid system of its traditional internal fan and features a design with blue illuminated rear tubes. If the solution works as Nubia suggests, we're talking about more stability in long sessions, less thermal throttling, and a more consistent experience in demanding games.

Visible liquid cooling and active fan

Historically, RedMagic have opted for vapor chambers and active ventilation; Now, the novelty is adding a liquid circuit that, in the transparent variants, can be seen through the casing. The combination of liquid + fan should improve thermal transfer over air-only systems, keeping SoC thermal peaks at bay. In addition to the marked gaming-oriented design, this approach aims to sustain high frequencies in a sustained manner without the device overheating.

Although it stands out visually, the key will be how you manage the hot spots of SoC and memory under real loads. If liquid cooling helps level out those critical areas and the fan evacuates heat effectively, we could see fewer performance drops in games at 120 or 144 Hz and in intensive tasks such as video editing on the phone itself. Of course, until trying it directly it is advisable to remain cautious: the technical leap is ambitious and we will have to see its noise, consumption and durability.

Date, chip and what we can expect

RedMagic ready to surprise with its new gaming device

Nubia has set its presentation in China for October 17 and everything indicates that it will come with him Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5Qualcomm's most powerful silicon for this generation. The brand usually takes care of the “gaming” details: tactile triggers, performance profiles and a highly tuned temperature control system. They have also been seen versions in black, silver and two transparent finisheswhere the ring of blue liquid takes center stage.

There are rumors that point to water resistance and other improvements typical of a top of the range to play, but for now the official thing revolves around the liquid cooling and to new chip. In any case, the message is clear: more sustained power and an aesthetic identity that fits with the public that seeks to differentiate itself.

An innovation that could influence the future of gaming phones with Android

RedMagic recently surprised with its tablet version compact called Astraa device that undoubtedly continues to cause a stir among gaming fans, since its portability and the great hardware it retains position it at an interesting level. But now, the approach to its next gaming device seems surprising to us.

If the execution accompanies, the liquid cooling of the RedMagic 11 Pro could mark trend among gaming mobiles and, who knows, push the competition to explore hybrid solutions. At ProAndroid we will be attentive to test how far this system goes and if it really shows in and out of games. Are you attracted to this proposal with visible tubes or do you prefer a more sober design if, in exchange, you maintain good performance? We read you in the comments.
