The iPhone 17 series won’t arrive until fall 2025, but there are already many rumors circulating about it. And among these rumors, there are those that mention the iPhone 17 Air. According to sources, this model would be a little special, since instead of emphasizing the technical sheet, Apple would rather focus on the design. The iPhone 17 Air would have a radically different design, and should be incredibly thin. On the other hand, some media indicate, for example, that this model could only have a single photo sensor on the back.
But, even before the release of this iPhone 17 Air, Samsung could release a competing product. As a reminder, the Korean giant’s next flagships will arrive in the first half of 2025. And according to a publication on the Smartprix site, this new series could include the “Galaxy S25 Slim”. This model would arrive in the second quarter of 2025, between April and May. For the moment, this information should be considered with caution. However, previously, Korean media ETNews also mentioned the possibility that Samsung would launch a “Slim” version of the Galaxy S25 in 2025.
An excellent camera in a “slim” format?
Unfortunately, Smartprix has not shared information on the alleged Galaxy S25 Slim spec sheet. However, in a recent publication on X, the Ice Universe account, a source that is regularly relayed by the media, indicated that the S25 Slim should have an “Ultra” camera. This suggests that despite its slimmer design, this smartphone should have good camera specifications.

It remains to be seen whether the Galaxy S25 Slim will also be efficient enough to stand up to the other 2025 flagships, despite this new format. Indeed, a good part of next year’s high-end models will use a brand new Qualcomm processor which, thanks to its Oryon technology, will offer a clear improvement in CPU and GPU performance. Samsung will be one of the brands that will use this chip, but it is not certain that it will be offered on all models.
