TestFlight, the app dedicated to developers, is getting a little makeover at the end of 2024. Apple has added some new features to facilitate exchanges between beta testers and developers. Let’s discover together the five major additions of this new version.
Apple refreshes TestFlight
Apple unveils a brand new update for TestFlight, its application reserved for developers and beta testers. An update which brings some nice new features, starting with some changes in the design.
Developers can now add a small description when sending an invitation to beta testers. Practical for making it clear at first glance what’s new in a version. The application sheet now includes screenshots, just like on the general public App Store.
Finally, developers are now able to add specific criteria to access the beta version of the application. A way to properly sort beta testers. Conversely, those who refuse to join the testing phase can provide feedback to specify the reasons.
We will end with a significant improvement in the stability of the service with the addition of the traditional bug fixing. TestFlight is a free application to download directly from the App Store.
