There is little left for the departure of iOS 26and even less to see the Final version of this systemwhich will officially come out in September, next to the new iPhone 17, encompassing a change and unification between the SO of all Apple devices, and not only in mobiles.

That is why Apple has already shown us another of its versions, being the fifth public beta that we can try. Today we will see those small changes that it brings to the previous ones, and if it is time to install it, being much more stable than the first.

iOS 25 Beta 5: What does it bring

Apple published this August 25 the fifth Public beta of iOS 26, together with those of ipados 26, macos tahoe and tvos 26. It is one of the last betas before the official launch in September, and arrives while Apple continues to adjust details in the developer versions.

If you are in the public betas program, you can install it from Configuration → General → Software update. Do not expect radical changes, since this delivery focuses on polish failures, stability and small visual settings and performance before its official departure.

The most visible change (and not of this beta, but of the system in general) is the new visual style called “Liquid Glass”. It is a softer and more modern redesign with light transparencies, subtle reflexes, more fluid animations and bars that shrink when scroll. You will see it on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV with the idea is that everything feels more unified.

On the other hand, Apple continues to push its commitment to artificial intelligence with several new functions. Among what is already being tested are tools that analyze captures (Visual Intelligence), Improvements to follow Orders in Wallet, changes in reminders and Real time translation for messages, calls and facetime. There are also creative additions such as image playground for Generate images and genumjiwhich mixes emojis to create new combinations.

In summary, this fifth public beta does not bring huge surprises, but it does improve the appearance, functions and stability that we will see in the final version. If you like to try news, it is a good opportunity, since it seems that the “bugs” are not so serious and you should not worry excess if you install it, although if you prefer total stability, perhaps waiting for the official public version in September is the best, or at least the RC (final version) That possibly is the following and, logically, last.

And you, are you one of those who seek and need to try the latest version of iOS and all systems before anyone else, or prefer to wait for a more stable and assure you that it does not contain errors? The truth is that if you only have an iPhone, it is best to wait, whatever it is, since a bug could disable functions of the phone that are important to you at some point, and return to an earlier version is not as simple as updating, so think twice before it.
