As every year, both iOS and other operating systems, they add new emojis to the catalog of these. Some are more funny, others less, some we use them more, and others spend years and we don't even know what they exist, but there we have them, one day we need to talk about an orca, for example.

New Emojis list in 2025
In celebration of World Emoji Day, the Unicode Consortium confirmed this week the new emoji characters that will be added to Unicode 17 in autumn, being something universal, that is, both for iOS and Android and other systems, although each of them can customize that icon in its own way.
The emoji characters that we will see includedand that we still did not have available, they will be: a trombone, a treasure chest, a distorted and blushed face, a hairy creature (also known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch), a struggle cloud, a food apple, a orca and ballet dancers. But as they say that it is more an image than a thousand words, we better leave you these.
Once Unicode 17 is published at the end of this yearApple will start working on the design of new emojis with their characteristic style. As you usually do, Apple takes several months to incorporate these emojis after an unicode update, so we will probably see them available on their devices from next spring, and not with the exit of iOS 26, since even, that day, we will not have yet launched Unicode 17, so they will arrive in this version of iOS, but in the middle of it.
