Structural design and portability
At first glance, Halo 300 impresses with its size and robustness. With dimensions of 753 × 364 × 406 mm and a weight close to 14 kg, although it takes the last name “portable”, it is not precisely a “backpack” speaker, but its approach goes further. Polycarbonate housing and metal grid transmit a sense of durability much higher than average. After several outdoor and displacement tests, we can affirm that the transport system – with rubber and retractable handle – works perfectly: it slides with stability and the handle is solid, even when moving it on irregular surfaces such as earth or gravel.
The IPX4 resistance is a guarantee to use in environments such as gardens or near pools. In a test under a light rain there was no problem, although we would personally avoid exposing it to more extreme conditions despite certification. This type of protection is suitable for users looking for a speaker for parties without having to worry excessively about splashes or changing climatic conditions.

Acoustic performance
Where Halo 300 shines really is in its sound architecture. The three -way system with two 8 -inch subwoofers, a 3 -inch media driver and two 2.25 -inch tweeters translates into a blunt and very well distributed sound. During the tests, we use it both in open and medium interiors (about 50 m²), and in both contexts the performance was excellent. Sound pressure reaches very high levels (up to 111 dB in peak), and most importantly: without perceptible distortion even 90 % volume.

The serious ones have a remarkable glue, but what surprises most was the clarity of the media, something that is not usually so worked on in speakers of this type. The voices are perceived clear and present, which makes it ideal not only for electronic or urban music, but also for vocal genres, rock or even outdoor film reproduction. The audio coverage in 270 degrees is very effective: in use tests with groups of people, they all received a coherent sound regardless of their position with respect to the speaker.

Treemart Soundpulse technology is really noticed. There is a dynamic enhancement in the bass that brings body without blurring the rest of the spectrum. It seemed especially useful in parties or celebrations where sound impact is sought more than absolute fidelity.
One of the strengths of Halo 300 is its versatility of connectivity. Bluetooth 5.3 ensures a very stable connection; Even with obstacles like fine walls, the range remained around 12-15 meters without cuts. During the trial days we did not have any accidental disconnection, something that we value a lot in contexts such as barbecues or small celebrations at home.

As for physical entries, it offers two microphone inputs with independent volume and echo controls, which makes it a solid option for karaoke or animation. Tested with a dynamic microphone, the result was more than satisfactory. The 3.5 mm auxiliary entrance and the USB port add even more possibilities, especially if we want to play from classical sources such as MP3 or an external memory.

The Tuneconn function is an outstanding extra: it allows to synchronize up to 100 Halo 300 speakers. Obviously, we did not have the opportunity to try something similar, just as we could not match two units for stereo mode, and that each reproduces a channel, something that also allows this equipment (like other products of the same brand).
The 27,000 mAh battery pays excellently. In our real tests, with volume to 60-70 %, without active lighting, we reach 17 hours of use. Activating light effects and rising the volume above 80 %, the duration dropped to about 13 hours, which remains very good for a team of this power. We also seemed useful that it can be loaded from the car: in a weekend departure we used a 12V adapter and the load was stable, although slower.
The control panel is intuitive. It has backlit buttons, easy to identify even with little light. It is appreciated that physical controls are so complete: everything can be handled from the speaker without depending exclusively on the app.

Even so, the Tronsmart app adds real value: it allows to adjust equalization, control the lighting, see the battery status and save sound profiles.

Although it is a more aesthetic than functional aspect, LED lighting is an attractive point. Outdoors generates a dynamic visual environment.

It seems remarkable to configure the modes: from reactive effects to fixed lights. It is not something that is used daily, but it is useful at night parties or informal meetings.

We have been able to compare it with models that have gone through our hands, such as the JBL Partybox 310 and the Sony XP700. While these stand out for brand and premium finishes, Halo 300 offers an excellent balance.

The power is up to it, and surpasses its rivals in physical connectivity. JBL has better water resistance (IPX5), but Tronsmart compensates with greater battery and more thought options for karaoke or mixed events, at a price, in both cases, much more attractive.
After several days of intensive use, we can affirm that the Tronsmart Halo 300 is one of the best options within its range.
It is powerful, versatile, and is well designed for both leisure and semi -professional applications. It is perfect for those looking for more than a basic bluetooth speaker: here there is sound muscle, real connection options and a very polished user experience.
For € 349.99 (or less, depending on offers and stores), the value for money is difficult to overcome. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who wants a system all in one for exteriors, celebrations, for amateur musicians or singers or even as sound reinforcement in more demanding environments.
