Every year, the rush to Apple’s latest iPhones during the holiday season not only boosts sales (and Apple’s bank account), but also increases the number of migrations from Android to iOS. This led the most valuable company to date to launch the “Move to iOS” app in 2015, easing the transition.

Previously, transferring data between the two platforms was a hassle, with users relying on cloud backups or third-party solutions that were often erratic or corrupted.

As we saw this morning, the “Move to iOS” application has climbed into the top 10 on Google Play Store, even ranking 6th at the time of writing. A sign that customers are migrating more than ever from Android to iOS, with an application which has exceeded the milestone of 100 million downloads.
