That’s why they’ve introduced a new range this year, but they still cost a fortune. Is it worth getting one, or is it one of those types of accessories that really isn’t worth buying in the Apple store and it’s better to buy it in an alternative way? Let’s give our opinion on this.
Official iPhone cases, are they any good?
Well, the truth is that, as you can understand, we have not yet been able to test the resistance of the new covers, however, we can have a fairly clear idea of their material, duration and price.
Apple is known for doing things right, and in my case, I don’t mind paying double for a cable, charger, or any accessory, even the MagSafe battery, which, despite costing 4 times more than its imitators, has better quality (although it is not 4 times better), so if we want the best of the best, we have to pay for it.
However, when it comes to cases, I disagree quite a bit, and after having several models, from different years and devices, I can say that They are the worst I have ever boughtThey even lasted me less than some of the 3 euro imitation ones from AliExpress.
I don’t really understand the quality of these, but with not so intensive use, they start to get eaten away at the sides and end up looking like anything but an elegant case, so you have to replace them.
For a price of 19.90 euros, for example, they could be a good buy, since, despite lasting the same as a 3 euro one, it is true that you can buy them together with your phone, or always find the same colour and model, since Apple sells them directly, without going crazy with the Chinese one, however, for 60 euros it seems like an outrage to me, and for another year, at least in my case, I will not get one.
One of the ways to really know if it’s a good buy is to wait for the deals. You’ll never see an iPhone at 50% off, because they’d lose money, however, cases, at least in past years, Amazon has put them at half price. Doesn’t that tell you anything?
