Currently, in our country, some citizens looking for work are encountering serious difficulties in finding one, or even in trying to obtain training. Nevertheless, the more complete our resume is, the better our chances of finding work.

For some time now, we have been able to receive some interesting aid and benefits from the State Public Employment Service (SEPE ) for the tasks we’re discussing. This organization attempts to provide us with certain facilities both for finding work and for preparing for it. We’re telling you all this because the aforementioned SEPE has just launched a new aid program through which we can receive benefits of up to 600 euros, as we’ll explain now.

First of all, we must bear in mind that this is a recently launched aid program specifically designed for unemployed people who want to receive training to quickly find their dream job. To begin with, we’ll tell you that it is funded by the European Union’s Next Generation funds.

Specifically, here we’re talking about a benefit that offers a subsidy of up to 600 euros to cover the costs of training courses. These courses must focus on areas of digital, green, and productive transformation, as stated in the offer. Basically, it’s training designed to improve applicants’ skills and abilities, in order to have a better chance of finding a job in these emerging sectors or updating their current ones.

It’s important to note that this assistance is intended for both active workers who want to change jobs and the unemployed.

Requirements for this €600 grant and how to apply for it

As is usually the case in these cases, in order to receive this subsidy we’re talking about, we must first meet a series of requirements, which we list below.

appointment with SEPE

  • Courses eligible for assistance must focus on digital, green, and productive transformation.
  • It is mandatory to have legal residence in Spain .
  • The applicant must be registered as a job seeker with the SEPE (Spanish State Employment Service) or registered as an active worker.
  • The training courses in question must be recognized and approved by the State Foundation for Employment Training or Fundae .
  • The total value of the course fee must be equal to or less than the aforementioned 600 euros.
  • The aid is paid upon completion of the courses, which will need to be verified.
  • The training completion deadline must be September 1, 2025. Course completion data must be submitted by September 30, 2025.

Once we know all this, we can apply for training course benefits through the official SEPE website or by visiting an official State Public Employment Service building to receive all the necessary information.
