Motorola has presented without much noise the Edge 70 Fusion+an improved variant of the Edge 70 Fusion that arrived at MWC 2026 just a few weeks ago. The “plus” surname is justified, above all, by a significantly more complete camera system than that of the base model, although the rest of the specifications remain practically intact. At the moment, availability is limited to Brazil, where it is already on sale for 2,969 reais (approximately $571), without confirmation of arrival in Europe or other regions.

The design follows the same line as the Edge 70 Fusion —and further back, that of the Edge 70known for being one of the thinnest mobile phones of its generation. If you already know the Edge family, you know exactly what to expect.

Renewed cameras as the main argument

The most obvious difference from the standard model is in the photography. The Fusion+ incorporates a triple rear camera system: main sensor Sony Lytia 710 50 MP with OIS50 MP wide angle and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom which was not present in the conventional Fusion for the global market. The front camera also goes up to 50 MP. The optical zoom deserves a separate mention: in this price range it does not always appear, and its presence significantly expands the equipment's possibilities.

The rest of the specifications are inherited from the Fusion: AMOLED screen 6.8″ quad-curved at 144 Hzprocessor Yesnapdragon 7s Gen 412 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, 5,200 mAh battery with 68W charging, IP68/IP69 certification and Android 16 as standard. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 is not exactly the most powerful chip in its category – something that was already pointed out at the launch of the Fusion in India – and that has not changed here.

Is it worth it compared to the base model?

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ vitaminized cameras

If the Edge 70 Fusion was already available in Europe from 420 euros, the reasonable doubt is how much more this Fusion+ would cost with the added telephoto lens. At the moment there is no answer, because Motorola has not announced availability outside of Brazil, and that silence is somewhat disconcerting for those who expected a complete Edge 70 range in the European market before the summer.

In terms of proposal, the Fusion+ has more arguments than the base model thanks to that third module. If the price does not skyrocket when it lands in more markets, it could become one of the More balanced mid-range of 2026. If he stays alone in Brazil, the story ends before it begins.
