Although in the European Union we still do not have the possibility of proving, legally, Apple IntelligenceDue to a Law that Apple and the EU itself must continue negotiating, it is possible to do it from your Mac, and safely, without strange tricks, just accepting that you will not be able to do it in Spanish.

For this you have to have a compatible computer (Mac M1 or higher) and the latest beta version of the macOS 15.1 system, which will be the one that allows this and the one that has more tools related to Apple Intelligence, from a renewed Siri, to the possibility of modifying photos automatically.

Apple Intelligence on Mac in Spain

As we said, the first thing you will have to do is install the latest beta available, to do this you just have to go to System Settings > General > Software Update. Within this section, we must check the “Beta Updates” box, and at that moment it will search for the latest available one and we will be prompted to download and install it.

Once we have it, we will have to take one more step to be able to enjoy Apple’s AI tools. To do this, and since it only works in certain regions and languages, it will have to be changed. System Settings > General > Language & Region and now, in the Mac language, we will select United States English.

Finally, we will also have to modify the Siri language, thus managing to unlock Apple Intelligence. You just have to go to System settings > Siri and do the same, select the English language of the United States.

From this moment, despite having everything in English, we will be able to enjoy everything new in this version of macOS, which really focuses on AI, so if we do not carry out these steps, the update will not be so important.

macOS iPhone

This enables everything new that Apple has released so far, from the revamped and much smarter Siri, to the photo editing automatic functions that we also find on the iPhone, but thanks to the Mac app, as well as other new features, including iPhone Mirroringand future ones that continue to accompany the betas, at least until the company launches the Spanish language (expected and announced for 2025), and allows us to put Spain as a region without having to go to the United States.

Anyway, for now, you can try it this simple way, without losing data or having to create a new ID. On iPhone it is somewhat more complicated, and we do not recommend it, however, with your Mac, it will be very easy and at least you will see if all this is really worth it, or we are giving too much hype to artificial intelligence.

Remember that betas void your Mac warranty in case of problems, so it is not advisable to do it if your computer is very new, since, although the beta is clean and does not cause problems, you may have another one not related to it, and the support will tell you excuse that you do not have the official Operating System of the moment.
