Apparently, not only will it be a most powerful phone at the hardware and software levelwith many new features in reference to Artificial Intelligence, but also aesthetically, with a smaller dynamic island and other changes that, although they will not make a completely new mobile, they will be able to differentiate themselves from the current ones.
iPhone 17: this could be it
Jeff Pu has been one of the first people to talk about the possible changes to this phone, and together with Mark Gurman, they are usually the ones who come closest to reality than what usually happens.
Among the changes, in addition to the already mentioned narrower dynamic island, which would achieve a larger useful screen size, we have other hardware changes such as the RAMwhich would reach the 12GB4 more than today, or the rear camera of telephoto lens that would go up to 48 megapixels.
Likewise, the new A19 Pro chip would arrive to complement this increase in RAM, achieving, above all, a much more powerful phone, aimed, as we already explained, at Apple Intelligence and everything related to AI, very present in 2025 and that will make the physical needs of these devices are larger, at least if we want everything to go smoothly and well.
Among other rumors that we have already seen these weeks, is the iPhone 17 Aira model that is supposed to be much thinner and lighter. It is not something 100% confirmed, but it is very strong, and Apple could be working on it. We have many doubts about its true capacity, since at the battery level, for example, it would have to have a much smaller one, and this could greatly affect that autonomy, not being as attractive to the public, despite being lighter, since which, at least for my part, I wouldn’t see as compensating for the change.
For now we will have to wait, and although everything points to a much better, more powerful model, and with features never seen before, it is too early to confirm anything, and Apple, as always, could surprise us, although it is clear that if the intelligence artificial continue to progress, the least we will see will be a new chip and expanded RAMso these rumors are not so crazy either.
