The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge doesn’t seem to hold any secrets, especially when it comes to design. The company itself gave us a glimpse into what this device will look like; however, we weren’t sure what colors would be implemented in this model.
This particular device is expected to be released in limited quantities, which makes us wonder if it will actually be available globally or just targeted at a specific market. Now, new renders of this model have leaked, and the truth is, it might be more surprising than we expected.
The Galaxy S25 Edge with a very familiar look
If we place this Galaxy S25 Edge next to the S25+, we might see very few differences, but with some very specific changes. If we focus on the back of this device, we’ll only see two sensors, but that’s not to be underestimated entirely.
The main sensor is said to be a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2, the same camera used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This is a truly important point; the secondary sensor is a 12-megapixel wide-angle.
In terms of features, this Galaxy S25 Edge would have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution and a frequency of 1 to 120 Hz. It would have an incredible thickness of 5.84 mm and a weight of 162 grams, making it the Korean firm’s thinnest and lightest device to date.
Inside is the Snapdragon 8 Elite, accompanied by 12GB of RAM. What could be a drawback is its 3,900mAh battery, with a modest 25W fast charge.
Despite the minor hiccups it’s likely to have in terms of range, this S25 Edge has enormous potential to compete. We’ll see how it all turns out at its unveiling, which is expected to take place on April 16.
