Samsung Galaxy Watch7 Ultra: Main Features

We are talking about a big watch, very big and thick, with dimensions of 47.4 x 47.4 x 12.1 mm and a weight of 60.5 grams. This makes it a key factor when purchasing it, since, due to its size, it is not suitable for everyone. Its design does look spectacular, it feels robust thanks to the use of titanium. In addition, its lens is protected by sapphire crystal, it has MIL-STD-810H certification that guarantees shock resistance, and water resistance of up to 10 ATM.

One of its key features is its 1.5-inch AMOLED display, which has exceptional quality. It includes a maximum brightness of up to 3,000 nits. This enables excellent visibility in all types of conditions, even outdoors and under direct sunlight.

Inside it has an Exynos W1000 processor, along with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. This set guarantees very fluid performance when moving through its menus and running compatible applications. These can be downloaded from Google’s own Play Store, as they have Wear OS 5 along with the One UI 6 customization layer.

Its 590 mAh battery can last a day of use, depending on requirements, and it takes around 90 minutes to charge. In terms of health control, it can perform sleep analysis, SpO2 and blood pressure measurement, sleep apnea, AGE index, among others.

In terms of connectivity, it is very well equipped with the presence of Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi ac, NFC for making contactless payments via Samsung Pay and LTE connectivity. There is also a dual-band GPS (L1 + L5) that allows you to have correct precision during your outdoor routes, even in urban and dense environments.

And when it comes to sports activities, this watch offers compatibility with more than 100 workouts, highlighting the possibility of establishing routines that allow you to achieve your set goals. For example, it is possible to track activities such as triathlon, swimming, running, cycling and it even has a new multisport mode and a Functional Threshold Power function to accurately measure FTP metrics.

Topes de Gama’s opinion: ratings and price

The Samsung Galaxy Watch7 Ultra is a high-end smartwatch, specifically designed to be a direct competitor to the Apple Watch, but within an operating system governed by Google. It is extremely complete, both in terms of the quality of its materials and the multitude of functions it incorporates, making it ideal for sports, despite its large size and weight.

This smartwatch is on sale with a RRP of €699. This means that it is not suitable for everyone’s budget either. Although it is true that it is usually possible to find it cheaper in the different offers on the online websites where it is sold.
