Created in 1996, Focus Home Interactive is a French video game publisher, whose head office is located in Paris. At the beginning of the 2000s, the publisher experienced success with (among others) very famous PC games such as Cossacks or the Sudden Strike series. In 2021, the publisher becomes Focus Entertainment, but for several months, it has been operating under a completely new entity, namely PulluP Entertainment.

PulluP Entertainment, who is this French video game publisher who is a hit in 2024?

Just recently, PulluP Entertainment reported record revenue in the second quarter of its 2024/25 fiscal year. The company indicates that it recorded a more than fourfold increase in its revenues over the period from July to September, for a total of 200.1 million euros, compared to 46.4 million “only” a year earlier.

In the second quarter alone, the Group’s turnover reached a record level of 200.1 million euros, compared to the record annual turnover for 2022/23 of 194.1 million euros.” indicates PulluP Entertainment in a press release.

To boost its activity, PulluP Entertainment was able to count on an ally of choice this year, namely a certain Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Inspired by the emblematic universe created by Games Workshop, and developed by Saber Interactive, the game constitutes the best launch in the group’s history, having already attracted more than 4.5 million unique players to date.

This allows it to rank among the 5 best launches of the year 2024” explains the company. Added to this is Train Sim World 5, which also achieved excellent commercial performance. Excellent news for the French publisher, even though the video game industry has been grimacing for many months already.

In addition to various waves of layoffs at numerous giants since the start of the year, the French company Don’t Nod has also announced a wave of massive restructuring, while the French giant Ubisoft continues to get bogged down with Assassin’s Creed Shadows…

Remember that the PulluP Entertainment catalog contains franchises particularly popular with players, including A Plague Tale, Train Sim World, Insurgency: Sandstorm, but also Atomic Heart, Evil West, Chants of Sennaar…

In its ranks, the company also includes the French developer Dotemu, well known to retrogaming enthusiasts, to whom we notably owe the excellent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and Streets of Rage 4.
