Xiaomi has launched a new wave of updates to HyperOS 2.2, this time covering up to 50 different phones to conclude its deployment and be able to continue with HyperOS 2.3. An update packed with new features, which is not only reaching phones like the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and POCO F/ Ultra, but also older ones like the Xiaomi 13T or the Redmi Note 13 Pro.
HyperOS 2.2 brings with it a good repertoire of new features, starting with a greater level of optimization and fluidity. Xiaomi has focused on improving the operation of its customization layer, correcting errors, but also implementing new features such as greater customization of the lock screen and improvements in animations, especially in the fingerprint unlock animation. HyperOS 2.2 also brings with it a new, completely revamped camera application with a more minimalist and intuitive interface, as well as new customization modes and options. Added to this are new tools integrated into Xiaomi HyperAI, as well as small aesthetic changes to improve the overall appearance of the system.
Of course, HyperOS 2.2 won’t be an identical update for all models. Only some are compatible with all the new features, especially the new features of the camera app and HyperAI tools, many of which are exclusive to the high-end models.
