Xiaomi has made its new tablet official. The Redmi K Pad will be its next offering for 2025, a new compact but highly performing model that will seek to overtake the iPad Mini with improved features and a more attractive price.

For now, Xiaomi has only confirmed that the launch of its new REDMI K Pad will be very soon, probably in just a few days, and it will also do so alongside the new REDMI K80 Ultra. Two new products focused on offering a great quality/price ratio, of which we already know the first details.

This is what the new REDMI K Pad will look like

As we can see in the following image, Xiaomi has announced the arrival of the REDMI K Pad alongside the REDMI K80 Ultra through a very simple promotional poster. For now, only the existence of both devices has been confirmed, and their launch is very close. If we take into account how long it usually takes Xiaomi to present a new product after announcing it, we will probably have all the details of this new line next week .

At the moment, Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed any other details, but if we take into account the rumors, the REDMI K Pad will be an 8.8-inch tablet, equipped with a 3K resolution LCD panel capable of reaching 165Hz to offer a very good user experience with games. In addition, it will have great performance thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+.

Now we just have to wait for Xiaomi to confirm the official launch date. Then we’ll have to see if the Redmi K Pad leaves China, though it’s very likely we’ll see it in the global market under a different line or even as a POCO or Xiaomi tablet.
