Nubia returns to what it does: a gaming mobile that maintains performance without interruptions. The new RsedMagic 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ have already been presented in Chinaincorporating an unusual active cooling system (yes, liquid moved by a micropump plus the classic internal fan) and a battery that can reach 8000 mAh. The promise is clear: long sessions, less thermal limitation and zero fear of heat.
Inside they mount the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 accompanied by an auxiliary chip for games. There are also haptic triggers, a nice vibration “click” and an optimized game mode. In wired charging, they go up to 120 W and, depending on the version, they also offer fast wireless charging.
Cooling: there is “water” moving inside
Here's the headline: in addition to the turbine-type fan, the RedMagic 11 Pro+ adds a liquid cooling system with a ceramic micropump that circulates the fluid inside. It is not the typical passive vapor chamber, but an active solution designed to sustain high frequencies for longer. And they show it: the transparent rear ring allows you to see the circuit in action. If you play with the screen 144Hz and with the brightness turned up, this can significantly improve performance in demanding sessions.
Screen and controls designed for gaming
The 6.85 inch flat screenwith 1.5K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate, reduces frames. The front camera goes under the panel, so there are no annoying holes when you aim. Touch is also improved with touch sampling up to 3000Hzand the side triggers reach 520 Hz: less latency, more precision. For biometric security, the ultrasonic reader under the screen responds quickly even if your hands are slightly damp.
Big battery and great charging
Depending on the configuration, the battery reaches 8000 mAh for the RedMagic 11 Pro and 7500 mAh for the 11 Pro+. Wired charging reaches 120 W, promising a very fast recharge. In some finishes, 80 W wireless charging and reverse charging for headphones or controllers are added.
Cameras and extras that add up
It is not a camera-centric mobile, but it does: 50 megapixel main sensor accompanied by an ultra wide angle also of 50 megapixels. The gaming software allows for per-title profiling, button mapping, and FPS and temperature monitoring. And yes, there is LED lighting, but without excesses.
Price and availability
In China, the RedMagic 11 Pro starts at 4,999 yuan (about 602 euros to change) for the 12GB + 256GB version, and 5699 yuan (approx. 686 euros) for 16GB + 512GB.
