Apple TV+ revealed the charming trailer for the new children’s animated series “Wonder Pets: In the City”, scheduled to premiere worldwide on December 13, 2024. Perfect timing, just before Christmas.
A new series for children
The trailer for “Wonder Pets: In the City” has now been available, inviting children and their families to join a journey of discovery and celebration of diversity with new characters.
The series follows three heroes – Izzy the guinea pig, Tate the snake and Zuri the rabbit – who are pets at a New York preschool. These animals embark on global rescue missions in their innovative ‘Jetcar’, tackling challenges through teamwork and musical mini-operas, reinforcing the fact that when united, no challenge is too much big.
Created by Nickelodeon Animation and developed by Jennifer Oxleythe Emmy Award-winning series aims to earn a place among the best family films, filled with brave new characters and captivating musical escapades.
The series benefits from the (English) dubbing of new talents like Victoria Scola-Giampapa in the role of Izzy, Vanessa Huszar in that of Zuri and Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. in that of Tate. It’s enriched with music from Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award-winning composers, with performances from FILMharmonic Orchestra.
