Aemulo, a powerful tweak to improve NFC functionality (Near Field Communications) on jailbroken iPhones is ditching Chariz for the Havoc repository. Developer Amy While (@elihwyma) explained that the move was primarily driven by the need to provide more flexible payment options.
What is the Aemulo NFC tweak for?
Here is Amy’s message:
As of today Aemulo is going to be sold on Havoc instead of Chariz. This was primarily motivated by the need for alternative payment options. Every existing user will shortly receive an email either from Havoc or Chariz with a code to redeem on Havoc.

With Aemulo, users can read, write, and emulate NFC tags right on their iPhone—tags you’d typically carry in your wallet or on your keychain. These NFC tags can then be added to the iPhone’s Wallet app, allowing them to be accessed from the lock screen at any time. Apple is also in the process of opening the iPhone’s NFC chip to banks..
Ever wanted to add your most used NFC cards to your phone’s wallet? Here’s Aemulo…
Aemulo lets you read, write, and emulate tags from a single app. It also has the ability to add cards to Wallet so you can invoke them from the lock screen. Aemulo offers a modern interface designed for the latest iPhones and many features.
A new deposit
Aemulo, a paid tweak, is now on the repo Havoc. The version currently available on Havoc is identical to the one that was previously on Chariz. However, Aemulo 2 will soon be available as a free update for existing users via the Havoc repository. Others will obviously have to pay.
If you already had Aemulo, don’t panic, Amy While reassured everyone that affected users would receive an email with a special promo code. This code will allow them to get the tweak on Havoc and continue receiving updates.
Some have reported issues receiving the code in question, but the developer advised those experiencing difficulties to check their spam folder and, if necessary, contact Havoc support for assistance.
