Nintendo has announced that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will launch for iOS and Android on December 3. Available at the introductory price of €9.99 until January 31, 2025, the price will then increase to €19.99. But wasn’t Animal Crossing already available on mobile for years?
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp full version
Yes, Animal Crossing has been downloadable on the App Store and the Play Store since 2017, but this free-to-play version is currently experiencing its last moments of life. As announced at the end of August, Nintendo will stop this business model and offer a new full version that will offer a paid offline experience with all the items and events from the game’s seven-year history. It is important to note that Pocket Camp Complete will not include any additional in-game purchases, providing a completely self-contained experience. Of course, a data transfer option has been provided, all you need to do is log in with your Nintendo account.

The future Animal Crossing application therefore offers a complete gaming experience, without advertising or additional purchases. There you will find your favorite space to personalize via 10,000 objects, various mini-games and festive events, but also some specific new features.
Indeed, to justify the move to premium, the developers added:
- CampiMaps : Develop your presentation card to exchange with other players.
- Mount Song : This new gathering point allows you to attend concerts with the characters you meet via CampiCarte.
- Full Coupons : These rewards allow you to obtain limited items during events.
Launch date
If you are a fan of the game, check the date December 3. Until then, the title is available for pre-order on iOS and Android.
Running a campsite has never been more fun than in Animal Crossing, where your role as manager is far from being limited to just one side.
