According to multiple reports, Apple has pulled the watchOS 11.1 Beta 3 update, with developers and public testers only having Beta 2 available at present. Less than twenty-four hours after installing it, some users experienced serious problems with their Apple Watch.

Watch out for version 11.1 of watchOS

Reports on Reddit report that several Apple Watches found themselves stuck after installing watchOS update 11.1 beta 3. Others have reported synchronization issues with Messages notifications.

The most important obviously remains the blockages, the watch freezing after each restart. A user shared his experience:

My Apple Watch freezes completely after every startup. I hold the side button and crown to restart it, and while it restarts it freezes again after a minute. The time doesn’t update and nothing works. It started when I received a message, and it happened non-stop. It has now crashed for the seventh time in the space of 15 minutes.

Annoying? The word is weak, because there is no way to update the firmware without going to an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider, in order to send your tocante for repair.

There is no doubt that Apple will offer a corrected update in the coming hours, but those who have already taken the plunge are stuck. The overall quality of the company’s software has been in question lately. The iPad Pro M4 saw the iPadOS 18 update removed for similar crashes, with the tablet becoming unresponsive in some cases. Apple has not yet released any solutions.

We will obviously keep you informed of these subjects.
