The Bad Sisters series is part of the Apple original content that has been recently renewed, the series has managed to convince many subscribers thanks to its storyline full of twists and turns and its casting. While season 1 has been available in full for a long time, Apple is preparing to add new episodes as part of a second season. Apple TV+ has finally revealed the long-awaited trailer for the second season of Bad Sisters. This critically acclaimed family thriller, which captivated viewers in its first season, returns with an even more thrilling and addictive plot. The new season will consist of 8 episodes, Apple will add the first two episodes then continue with one episode per week until Christmas Day.
Fans will find most of the actresses who marked the first season. Sharon Horgan, also a producer of the series, returns alongside Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene and Eve Hewson. Together, they will continue to weave the complex relationships that unite the Garvey sisters.
Adding to this already impressive cast will be several new faces, including Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham and Barry Ward. Other new additions to the cast include Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Daryl McCormack, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Peter Claffey, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon and Justine Mitchell.
The plot of this second season takes place two years after the death of Grace’s abusive husband, an event which shook the family. Just as peace seemed to have settled, past truths resurface, which will raise new suspicions. The Garvey sisters will once again face revelations that could change their lives forever.
