Viewers can catch up or refresh their memory with the recap of the first season, released before the start of the second season of “Surface”:

“Surface” is an Apple Studios production and Hello Sunshine (like the Lucky series), where West not only created, but also wrote and directs the series. Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter Hello Sunshine are executive producers, alongside Mbatha-Raw. This season’s directing team includes Ed Lilly, Jon East, Lynsey Miller and Alrick Riley.

After its debut, Apple reminds that “Surface” was praised as “gripping,” “twisty and juicy” and a “sexy thriller.” Personally, I had trouble hanging on.

The new season is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Apple TV+ starting February 21, 2025, with subsequent episodes airing weekly until April 11, 2025.
