The hit series Ted Lasso could well return for a fourth season, although this has not yet been made official by Apple TV+. According to sources close to production, filming is expected to begin in London in early 2025, continuing with previous seasons, which were all filmed in the United Kingdom.
If the news is received with enthusiasm, uncertainties remain regarding the involvement of Jason Sudeikis, the star of the series. According to reports, Sudeikis will indeed return for this fourth season, but in a reduced role. Indeed, if he agreed to participate in this new season, he does not want to move away from his family in the United States for extended periods, as was the case during the filming of the first three seasons. This time around, the focus would be more on other popular characters, which will allow the plot to expand while providing a less marked presence of Coach Lasso on screen.
Podcast creator Sigmund Judge also provided some interesting details, he confirmed in a recent post on X that filming will begin in January 2025. He added that it would indeed be a fourth season, which completely dismisses rumors of a spin-off series.
