After many months of waiting and delays, it’s finally here. Apple Intelligence, Apple’s artificial intelligence, will arrive on all our devices next week, with iOS 18.4 and the rest of the operating systems. Since you’re probably confused by the features that are still delayed and those we’ll be able to try out in a few days, we’ll clear everything up for you in this article.

With the release of the RC or release candidate for iOS 18.4 and other equivalent versions this week, the final, open update for all users will arrive in a few days. It will likely be available on Monday or Tuesday of next week, so we’re sharing all the details about what artificial intelligence will bring to our devices.

Artificial intelligence features in iOS 18.4

First and foremost, and as a kickoff to the update, we’ll see the arrival of Apple Intelligence in more languages, including Spanish, and the final arrival in the European Union. So, what can we do with this technology?

Well, the possibilities are quite numerous, although there are also some negative aspects that we will leave for the end.

One of the most exciting new features is the ability to create custom emojis with Genmoji. This tool allows us to design our own emojis, giving them a unique and personal touch. Additionally, with Image Playground, another new feature, we can generate complete images thanks to Apple’s artificial intelligence. This feature gives us the ability to create images in a variety of styles, from cartoons to realistic photos. The capabilities of this technology are impressive and open up a range of possibilities for creating visual content.

Another notable feature is Visual Intelligence. This feature can be activated from the Control Center or through the device’s action button. When activated, our iPhone will be able to offer detailed information about what it’s capturing through the camera. For example, if we focus the camera on the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the device will provide us with data about the place, such as capacity, location, the team that plays there, its history, and more. This feature is especially useful when we’re traveling and want to learn more about the buildings, monuments, or sculptures around us, providing instant information about what we’re observing.

Apple Intelligence coming in a few days

Finally, the Priority Notifications feature is also being introduced, allowing us to configure which notifications are most important so that they are highlighted on the screen, above all others. This will help us avoid missing the alerts we configure as most relevant, even when we have a lot of notifications. Additionally, the iPhone and iPad will feature a new email categorization feature, which organizes the emails in our inbox using artificial intelligence, classifying them into categories for more efficient email management.

Apple Intelligence is coming to Spain in a few days to take the user experience to the next level and harness the potential of artificial intelligence. Keep in mind that it will only be available on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, as well as the entire iPhone lineup and all iPads and Macs with M-series chips.
