When purchasing a charging base for our Apple deviceswe do not have an official option like the AirPower that the company presented in 2017 and which was never launched, so we have to go to external, and therefore less reliable, options.
However, a base that everyone talks about, and that I finally bought, is the Belkin one, not only because of its quality or certifications, but because it is Apple itself that sells it in the official store, so we could say which is what the company recommends.
Belkin 3-in-1 Charging Base: Personal Opinion
As there will be many people who have had their eye on this foundation, due to what was said above, today I am going to give you my personal opinion after using it for a while, since it may help others decide on it, or not. So let’s go with the points for and against:
Points in favor
- Loading speed: The V3 version of this product not only has a 15W fast charge for your iPhone, but also includes it in the Apple Watch, that is, you will be able to have your products at 100% in a short time, unlike others that, despite also have a lot of power, or so they say, they lose most of the energy in the process, taking twice as long as this one from Belkin.
- Heating: I have tried other bases and, after a few minutes, both the base itself and the devices are quite noticeably hot, however, in this one from Belkin, for a fast charger, it barely heats up, and if it does, it will be in the proportion similar to if we have it connected by cable, something normal.
- Design and materials: Both the design and materials are very premium, and once you touch it you will realize it. Just because of the weight you will see a clear difference with other foundations, so if you are looking for something of quality, this is yours.
Points against
- Price: Currently, it costs 149.99 euros, although on Amazon and other pages we can find it much cheaper, however, it is still a much more expensive product than the competition.
- Charge all 3 devices at the same time: The base allows you to charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods at the same time, however, and of course, if we charge everything at the same time, the power is divided, and although we do not lose much time, we do notice that it will not supply the same energy as if we do it individually, or with just two of them.
There may be other points in favor or against, depending on the needs of each person or their personal experience, however, these are mine, the ones that catch my attention and I remember the most, so I hope it helps you and if You had doubts about whether to buy it or not, don’t have them anymore.
