Big update for Microsoft Copilot. The AI finally has the right to a new interface and gains in capabilities with the launch of numerous features. Features currently in beta and primarily reserved for English-speaking countries initially.
Microsoft Copilot: your AI companion
Copilot, Microsoft’s AI, is taking a new step in its young career. By downloading the latest update of the application from the App Store, we discover a new design for everyone and new features, unfortunately unavailable in France at launch. Same for the web version.
New interface
A brand new interface that is more modern, more sober and which also offers more concise answers which are now displayed in one go. No more editorial style as ChatGPT does so well with sentences appearing one after the other.
Speaking of sobriety, no more numerous vignettes depending on what you want. Whether it’s a written response, a logo, an image, an emoji or something else, just ask for it in the main conversation.
Copilot Voice
The service is finally equipped with a voice assistant. Like its competitors, it will be able to answer users’ questions orally in four different voice styles. The app also allows you to choose the one you prefer on the first launch after updating.
Copilot Daily
This new feature collects the latest news around the world in order to create a sort of podcast or voice message to keep you informed in real time. Note that it is only based on a few very popular American sites at the moment. Hopefully in the future Microsoft will give us the choice of news sites to create our personalized audio newspaper.
Copilot Discover
The main mission of Copilot Discover is to help novices get familiar with AI. First, it offers a complete overview of what can be done with Copilot. With your authorization, it will analyze your internet activity in real time to provide you with answers that are completely tailored to your profile.
Copilot Labs
Exclusively accessible to Copilot Pro members, this space allows you to preview new features to come. A sort of AI beta for those who want to test everything before others.
Copilot Vision
Integrated into the Edge browser, Copilot Vision sees and hears everything that happens on your screen when you browse the internet. He can therefore describe things to you, advise you on others and even discuss things with you.
Obviously, security is there. Vision will never automatically activate when launching Edge and can be deactivated at any time. Likewise, it will work on a few sites initially, to ensure that it is not dangerous before expanding it to the entire web.
Think Deeper
Think Deeper is able to precisely answer the most complex questions. If you want to move to a particular city, for example, it will collect as much information about you as possible to provide the most complete answer possible by taking into account a large number of parameters.
