Our opinion on Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm

NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM (NUNS) game is divided into two main modes: Free Combat And Ultimate Missionthe latter corresponding to the Story mode, although it lacks scope despite some good ideas.

THE Free Combat focuses on accessibility, aiming for a wider audience than just fighting game purists. The game offers 25 playable characters from the Naruto universe, but the lack of online multiplayer is regrettable. A fighting game of this quality would have deserved a multiplayer. However, the clashes remain extremely dynamic thanks to the possibility of using two support characters, as well as combos and special attacks, although the latter are sometimes too easy to execute.

The graphics are very close to the anime, with spectacular ultimate attacks and careful staging. The use of a fixed camera allows you to fully enjoy the fights, which can take place on several levels, such as on walls or cliffs, adding immersion. The most seasoned will, however, find the range of moves a bit meager.

The mode Ultimate Mission spans a hundred missions, but suffers from a certain repetitiveness. Unlike Rise of a Ninjaplayers cannot leave the village of Konoha, creating a feeling of isolation. Although Adventure Mode offers various side quests, its interest is limited.

In conclusion, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm shines with its fun and accessible fights, its respect for the anime, but disappoints with the absence of multiplayer and its too light story mode.
