The new Redmi Pad 2 is here. Xiaomi has just quietly launched its new budget tablet, an improved version of the Redmi Pad SE that stands out not only for its design but also for its new display, performance, and great battery life. A new “value for money” product, which we can now buy in Spain.
And to everyone’s surprise, Amazon has put the Redmi Pad 2 on sale ahead of schedule. Its price starts at €199.99 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and goes up to €249.99 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, available in gray, green, and lilac. It can also be purchased with its case for a limited time at a special price.

The new Redmi Pad 2 debuts with a refreshed, more refined, and overall more attractive design than the previous generation. It also features an 11-inch LCD display that, in addition to offering a 2.5K resolution, reaches 90Hz for smoother viewing.
Inside, we find a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra, a much more powerful processor than the Snapdragon 680 found in the Redmi Pad SE, capable of delivering great performance not only for multimedia use but also when playing games or using more demanding applications. Added to this are up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
In terms of cameras, the Redmi Pad 2 offers a fairly modest setup. On the back, we find a single 8MP camera, while on the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera equipped with the latest artificial intelligence for better results.
