If French-speaking artists have had a strong presence in France for several years, it is above all because the music streaming market continues to mature. Unlike video streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney+ which have managed to win over users from all backgrounds and all ages, Spotify (but also Deezer and Apple Music) remains an application mainly used by relatively young users. This can therefore explain the lack of diversity in the ranking of the most listened to artists in France.
