The telephone market does not give up and the Nothing sub-brand is already preparing its next big launch: the CMF Phone 3 Pro. After the success achieved by the previous generation, the first data suggest that this new terminal will seek to correct some of the weaknesses of its predecessor to consolidate itself in the always competitive mid-range.
One of the most striking changes is the processor jump. If the previous model, the CMF Phone 2 ProI bet on a chip Dimensity 7300 Pro from MediaTek, now the company has decided to turn towards Qualcomm. The engine of this new beast is expected to be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4an architectural change that promises to improve both raw performance and energy efficiency. This movement demonstrates a clear intention to raise the level in the technical section.
More battery, but with doubts in the design
Beyond power, autonomy seems to be another of the pillars of the CMF Phone 3 Pro. According to the leaks, we will leave the 5,000 mAh behind to welcome a battery between 5,400 and 5,500 mAh, accompanied by a fast charge that goes up to 45W. The screen also promises: a panel AMOLED with a resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels that surely more than meets the multimedia consumption of the average user.
However, not everything is perfect. Although the inclusion of a new metal frame which will give it a more premium feel, the tweaks to the rear camera module seem quite minimal. It remains to be seen if this evolution justifies the change of generation or if we are faced with a simple conservative update that could make the final product more expensive in stores.
Do you think that the change to the Qualcomm architecture will be enough for this device to stand out among so many economic alternatives?
