The most downloaded apps and games on the App Store in 2024

It’s the end of the year, Apple unveils the official ranking of the most popular apps and games on the App Store in 2024. 30 countries are present in this ranking with the usual dominance of the USA. France is present.

As 2024 comes to a close, Apple is pleased to share the most downloaded apps and games of the year on iPhone, iPad and Apple Arcade. The rankings, now available in the Today tab of the App Store, are specific to more than 30 countries and regions and include the best free and paid apps and games, as well as the most popular Apple Arcade games. On December 11, Apple had already revealed the winners of the 2024 App Store Awards.

Today’s rankings are, like every year, clearly dominated by American applications. France is still present with its France Identity application which allows you to store your license and identity card (soon the Vitale card) in your iPhone.

It should be noted that in terms of games, Minecraft is still firmly in the top paid ranks.
