The iPhone, which already allows users to validate their public transport journeys by storing tickets such as “t+” tickets or “Navigo Jour” passes, will soon welcome a new option. From spring 2025, iPhone users, as well as those on Android, will be able to use the Navigo Liberté+ pass. A new step before the arrival of the highly anticipated annual subscription.

Île-de-France Mobilities

As stipulated in the IDF Mobilities websitethe Navigo Liberté+ pass allows you to pay for your journeys individually with reduced rates, without commitment or minimum duration. Journeys are recorded and billed at the end of each month, offering increased flexibility to those who do not use the Paris region network every day.

How to create your pass for the first time:

    • Subscribe to the Navigo Liberté+ service by providing a RIB (Bank Identity Statement). Either at the station or on the iPhone.

    • Travel by validating your Navigo pass each time you travel.

    • Each month, your trips are recorded and billed to you the following month.

Of course, you can load a Navigo Week or Navigo Month all-zone package onto the same pass at any time.

The single ticket

In addition to improving iPhone support, Île-de-France Mobilité has revised its prices to offer a single ticket from January 2, 2025. Rather than a host of prices depending on your departure and destination, you will be able to buy a single ticket for €2.50 valid throughout the Île-de-France region. Better still, if you have the Navigo Liberté+ pass, the cost will only be €1.99.
